Refuerzo'24 is a flagship symposium brought forth by the Department of Civil Engineering of Agni College of Technology. Refuerzo'24 is the National Level Technical Symposium, which stands remarkable and unsurpassed for its promising grandeur and magnificence. The symposium comprises of 4 technical events and 4 Non-technical events.
TECHNICAL EVENTS
PAPER PRESENTATION
Topics:
1) Sustainable Construction.
2) Digital Twins.
3) Kinetic Roads.
4) AI based Inspections.
5) Smart Cities.
6) Green Buildings.
Rules:
Maximum of 5 members in a team.
Presentations should be uploaded before 12th April
10 mins only given to explain your Presentation.
Judges decision will be Final.
POSTER EXPOSITION
Topics:
1) Sustainable Construction.
2) Self healing Concrete.
3) Standards of Materials.
4) Drones in Infrastructure.
5) Smart Cities.
RULES:
Maximum of 2 members in a team.
The poster should be made before and brought to college on 13 April.
The poster should be based on the topic.
The participants should be given a detailed speech about the poster done.
BRAIN BUZZER
Theme: Standards and Construction Materials
Rules:
Two rounds will be conducted.
In 1st round, 20 questions with a time limit of 60 secs for each question.
In 2nd round, 10 questions with a time limit of 30 secs for each question.
Each participants will be provided with participation certificates.
QUICK FIX (Plumbing)
Rules:
Materials will be provided.
Co-Ordinator's decision will be final.
Allotted time will be two minutes.
Team will be Disqualified if they did not complete the task in 2 minutes.
NON-TECHNICAL EVENTS
BOX CRICKET
Rules:
Each team should contain 6 players with 2 substitudes.
There will be 3 overs per innings
One pitch One hand Catch ball is considered as out.
Necessary equipments should be taken by the Players.
Fast Bowling is not allowed.
Tennis ball will be used.
Umpires decision is Final.
FIRE LESS COOKING
Rules:
Two participants in a team
Total preparation time: 1 hour
All the items required for cooking should be brought by the participants themselves including water, Only a working table will be provided.
Dishes should be purely vegetarian.
Participants should not bring any cut, chopped orgrated raw materials. They should process it on the spot within allotted time.
Participants can bring non-electric equipment's like mixer, chopper, juicer, grater etc.,
Milk and milk products maybe used
No readymade materials allowed
Judgement is based on innovation, presentation, taste and cleanliness of the food.
FLIP TAC TOE
Rules:
Its a one on one challenge in X O Game format.
The Person who flips the cup first ,will place the cup in square grid
Person who places the cups in order will move to next round
Same battle b/w selected people will take place and final decisions are taken by the Judges
FREE FIRE
Rules:
Players should bring their own mobiles with proper Internet connection.
No mod apk should be used for the tournament.
Only participates who present in the Hall is allowed.
No commotions and emotions should be Expressed.
